The RACKiT Club is a relatively new BDSM club based in Austin, Texas. It is a network of adults interested in enjoying the company of other kinky people. The club will seek to provide opportunities for socializing. It's activities will include casual gatherings at public places open to anyone. There will also be members-only activities such as dinner parties.

The RACKiT Club's membership structure is founded on the belief that our scene names ARE our real names within the context this subculture. We know who we are, so last names are unnecessary. Each new member must be known well by at least two other members. The membership list looks like this:

The idea is to provide anonymity in the eyes of the the vanilla world, but accountability in our world. The list would be meaningless to an outsider, but, to those in the network, it gives some level of protection against infiltrators and persons of bad character attending the private events. The requirement for two member-references will preclude newbies from gaining membership until they have gained the trust of at least two members of the network.

The RACKiT Club is not designed to compete with any other group in town. On the contrary, it will encourage its members to take advantage of all that the local community has to offer. Your participation (or lack thereof) in other BDSM clubs is irrelevant. If you're not interested in joining, don't worry about it. We hope you'll come to the public events anyway.

How is The RACKiT Club different from other Austin-area BDS/M groups?

First and foremost, it's different from all the clubs in that its activities are not centered around a once-a-month gathering. Rather than try to compete with all the regularly scheduled parties, munches and socials, The RACKiT Club will work on filling in any gaps in the calendar.

-The RACKiT Club is similar to GWNN in that it's pansexual. It's different from GWNN because membership requirements are more restrictive.

-It's similar to SAADE in that it values mutual trust, honor and respect. It differs from SAADE because it does not want your real name and it has no desire to educate anybody.

-It's membership requirements are most similar to BbD's, but, unlike BbD, The RACKiT Club is pansexual.

-It's almost like the Unaffiliated Munch idea, except that it gives people something to be affiliated with.

-It's similar to Voyagers in that it attracts people looking for fun. It differs from Voyagers because it is not focused on Newbies.
